Huckleberry

From 2021 to 2023, I served as Content Marketing Manager at Huckleberry (acquired by Paychex), an online insurance platform for small and medium-sized businesses. As one of the first hires to Huckleberry’s marketing team, I supervised all organic growth marketing initiatives, including and especially Huckleberry’s SEO content channel, and helped ideate the GTM strategy for Huckleberry for Business, an embedded insurance product for enterprises.

Other projects at Huckleberry included copy for a refreshed Customer Support portal, affiliate partnerships/PR content management, and aiding in the creation of a proprietary industry class code index for the consumer product’s backend.

Insurify

From 2018 to 2021, I served as Content Specialist and Editorial Manager at Insurify, the highest- and most-rated insurance comparison platform in the U.S. As the company’s first full-time editorial hire, I oversaw editorial and copy development across the site, wrote extensively about insurance and personal finance topics, revived and managed the firm’s social profiles, and acted as a company representative for media outlets across the country.


Scholarship

My core academic interests reside at the difficult and fascinating intersections between cultural memory, nostalgia, media history, and critical theory.
